Freight and Courier options

At PCD we use reliable and fast delivery methods for all orders. Goods will be shipped using one of the following methods:

• Express and Registered Air Post via Startrack Air
• Road Freight (Courier) via Startrack Road or Aramex

Air Freight we utilise Startrack Air. Road Freight we can ship via Startrack or Aramex (Couriers). If you have a preference between Aramex or Startrack for Road Freight, please make mention during order process in the comments section so that we can carry out your request. If no preference is indicated, we’ll make an educated decision of courier selection based off historic delivery data for your locale.

Registered tracking details are provided for all orders, providing peace of mind knowing location and status of your order, accurately monitoring delivery schedule as required.

Same-Day Dispatch

All orders received are dispatched ASAP. To qualify for same-day dispatch orders must be received by 2pm AEST.

If the order is received after 2pm, we’ll still endeavour to get it out for same-day dispatch, however this can't be guaranteed. The worst-case scenario is we get it dispatched the following business day.

Freight Costing

Being transparent on cost of Air Freight, a singular 5kg Air Carton is charged at $15.00. Cubic sizing, weight and shipping location of items are automatically calculated during checkout. If more than one 5kg Air Carton is required to ship the order, then these calculations will automatically be updated and reflected at checkout.

Sending via Road Freight proves to be a more lenient option (in comparison to Air) regarding shipping weight, sizing and costing all of which are reflected on price points offered.

We offer free freight for purchases over $50 via Road Freight. If your order is below $50 it does not qualify for free freight, and the order will incur a $7.50 shipping fee via Road Freight. Air Freight does not qualify for free freight. All orders shipping by Air will incur a minimum $15.00 Freight charge. Larger Air shipments will have freight calculated at checkout.

Some locations and items are cheaper to send via Air Freight. If Road Freight is selected during checkout process and no additional comments are made indicating courier preference via Road, warehouse may choose to send it out via Air Freight as this service tends to be quicker.

Orders that are deemed out of normal operating or delivery areas are quoted on a per-order basis according to weight, size and delivery address. Freight calculation on checkout is often accurate though if it falls outside normal delivery conditions someone will be in contact with you ASAP to discuss.

Delivery to the following areas is unavailable or are subject to a surcharge, please get in Contact for further shipping details: Norfolk Island, Christmas Island, Cocos Island, and The Australian Antarctic Territory.

Freight prices are in Australian dollars (AUD), GST (Goods and Services Tax) on Freight is calculated on checkout. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to make amendments to the prices or information at any time without prior notice whether to amend typographical errors or adjusting costs based on supplier changes.

Any shipping/freight fees paid to PCD are a non-refundable item.

PO Boxes – Parcel Collect – Parcel Lockers

Shipping to a PO Box incurs a PO BOX Surcharge of $8.50 and can be shipped via Air Freight ONLY (Road Couriers DON’T deliver to PO Boxes). Additionally, we are unable to deliver large / bulky items to PO Boxes, Parcel Collect or Parcel Lockers. Tip on avoiding surcharge, obtain a valid physical street address for parcel receipt.

Authority to Leave (ATL)

Authority to Leave (ATL) is available upon request and gives the delivery driver the authority to leave the freight without obtaining a signature. PCD is not liable for any loss or damage if an ATL is instructed to be applied to an order.

Delivery times

Please use the following as a rough guide;

• QLD & NSW Major CBD via Air is 1 – 2 days. (average overnight)
• QLD & NSW Major CBD via Road is 1—3 days. (average 1 – 2 days)
• QLD & NSW Rural via Air or Road is 1 – 7 days. (average 1 – 2 days)

• SA & VIC Major CBD via Air is 1 – 2 days. (average overnight)
• SA & VIC Major CBD Road 2—3 days. (average 2 days)
• SA & VIC Rural via Air or Road is 3 – 7 days. (average 3 days)

• WA, NT & TAS Major CBD Air is 1 – 3 days. (average 1 – 2 days)
• WA, NT & TAS Major CBD Road 4—7 days. (average 4 – 5 days)
• WA, NT & TAS Rural via Air or Road is 4 – 7 days.

A more accurate time frame for delivery will be calculated once tracking details are live. All delivery timeframes are an estimate only and do not account for unforeseen circumstances which may affect the delivery of your parcel. We do not accept any liability for failure to meet the scheduled delivery times or any inconvenience caused as a result.

Back orders

We strive to have all items in stock. However, if any item on your order is out of stock, we will contact you ASAP (by e-mail or phone) to discuss steps and options moving forward. Ultimately we would discuss estimated time on when we expect to have the items back in stock, discussion of potential part-shipment (ship items in stock, backorder items out of stock then notifying and organising shipment once goods are back in stock), or organising a full refund, whichever option best suits the circumstance and yourself. Part shipping back ordered goods that’s not above the $50.00 free freight threshold will incur normal freight charges. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Notes

• Address details that are incorrect or insufficiently supplied will incur a $7.50 redelivery fee.
• If you have given authority to leave goods without a signature (ATL), you accept full responsibility if parcel is lost or stolen from delivery address.
• We supply and ship all our products Australia Wide. Please Contact Us if you want to ship overseas.
• The best addresses to use for shipping goods is where someone is available between 7am and 6pm weekdays, similarly a business address that is operating within normal business hours. Usually if delivery cannot be made, Australia Post and Couriers will leave a NHCL (Not Home Card Left) listing details on how to make collection from an appointed Post Office or to ring for further details on organising delivery or collection. Please note that we get charged $8.50 for an attempted delivery. If delivery cannot be made you will be responsible for any additional delivery fees incurred, ensuring someone is available to sign at the desired delivery address is essential.
